Summer concert series at Haus der Musik
Haus der Musik is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the great Polish composer Frédéric Chopin with a series of crossover concerts. Every Saturday at 3:30pm, through August 28, Haus der Musik presents varying Polish jazz formations. Admission to the concerts is free!
The year 2010 marks the 200th anniversary of Frédéric Chopin. The great Polish composer is being honoured with numerous concerts, lectures, exhibitions and commemorations all over the world. From May 4 to April 30, Haus der Musik hosted the special exhibition "Chopin in Vienna." The upcoming concert series is being presented in cooperation with the National Chopin Institute Warsaw, the Vienna-Krakow Cultural Society and the Committee Chopin 2010.

From June 19 to August 28, 2010, summer concerts take place at Haus der Musik every Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Varying Polish music formations interpret works by Chopin in the style of jazz:
