In cooperation with the Vienna Songwriting Association, Haus der Musik presents the young Austrian singer/ songwriter Bernhard Eder. On July 8 at 8pm this up-and-coming music talent will present brand new material as well as relishable cover songs. Giantree, a Viennese alternative band, will be opening with reverberant guitars and downbeat key tunes.
Bernhard Eder:
Bernhard Eder not only convinces with his own songs, reminiscent of Rufus Wainwright, Kings of Convenience or Damien Rice, he also surprises with fine cover versions. His latest album "The Unexpected," features two brand new original songs as well as excellent covers of Puddle of Mudd (Blurry), AC/DC (Thunderstruck) and - in Duo with American singer/ songwriter Ian Fischer - Velojet's I Follow My Heart. It leaves us craving for more.

Giantree turn engrossing reverberant guitar sounds and downbeat key tunes into mesmerizing rock-elegies. Following heart beat rhythms the band ventures on a path between magic and authenticity all the while indulging doubts of life, love and hope.
