Live On Stage: Bowerbirds

In cooperation with the Vienna Songwriting Association, Haus der Musik presents the American folk band Bowerbirds live on stage on July 4, 2012.

Founded in 2006, Phil Moore and Beth Tacular named their musical project after the Australian bird known for its unique courtship behaviour.

Soon after, the name Bowerbirds began to be associated with a rather particular and exceptionally successful music style. Hailing from North Carolina, the band's unique sound oscillates between the freak folk tunes of Devendra Banhart or Joanna Newsom and Lavender Diamond's sunshine pop. At Haus der Musik they present their newest oeuvre "The Clearing."

Tickets: €12,- on sale at Haus der Musik from 10am to 10pm daily.
