Returns to Haus der Musik with monthly guest performances
The renowned Mozart Boys Choir Vienna is back at Haus der Musik. On Ocober 8, the choir returns to Haus der Musik's glass-roofed inner courtyard for a free concert.
Alongside the Vienna Boys' Choir, the Mozartknaben choir is one of the best choirs in Vienna. Its enthusiastic members meet regularly and rehearse like professionals. They have now found a further outlet for their talents at Haus der Musik.
The Mozartknabenchor was originally founded in 1956, the 200th anniversary of Mozart's birthday, as an establishment that would enable the children to live at home and attend the school of their choice. The members met to rehearse every week with the aim of creating a choir of the highest quality.
Within a short time, the choir established itself in the Viennese and Austrian music scene and became well known far beyond the country's borders as a representative of Austrian music.
